Bigger Boat officially was founded 15 years ago, but Oliver's journey started much earlier. His vision was always to build a company synonymous with quality, both in the products they distribute and the service they provide. Over the years, Oliver has had the privilege of representing some of the best products in the market. Bigger Boat may be a one-person operation, but Oliver's commitment to efficiency and customer satisfaction is unwavering. Recently, he invested in an automated stock management system that provides dealers with real-time stock visibility and ensures fast, seamless delivery directly to the end customer. This innovation allows Oliver to focus more on what truly matters: customer service and sales.
Oliver is meticulous about the brands he chooses to represent, prioritizing high-quality products. Recently a chance encounter with Brad Lunde at NAMM led Oliver to Sound Anchors. At Brad's recommendation, Oilver joined a Zoom meeting with Bernie Mara, Owner of Sound Anchors, and it quickly became evident that a partnership was a perfect fit.
Working with Sound Anchors is an exciting prospect for Bigger Boat. Since Brexit, Oliver had scaled back on European distribution due to the initial challenges and red tape. However, those issues are now well resolved, and he is enthusiastic about reconnecting with European dealers. This renewed focus on European distribution marks a significant milestone for Bigger Boat, and Oliver believes 2024 will be an outstanding year for this new collaboration.
